In the traditional cultures, mental malfunctioning was understood in the line of the spiritual world. This meant that the patients felt ostracized and had to live with life-long stigma. Increasingly, with the development of medicine, mental health is taking its rightful position. Psychological counseling, properly administered and adequately monitored by the mandated bodies, is having such a positive impact on the society. Adequate social transformation cannot be realized devoid of mental health. The interventions made by Afro Heritage are aimed at contributing positively, towards filling the gap.
