Change is inevitable and the better we negotiate it, the more profitable our future becomes

For those interested in human development, the different stages that the human person goes through are so diverse, yet in unison. They are meant to foresee growth by maximizing on the present while investing in the future. Negatively negotiated, the stages can lead to devastation and stagnation. These poorly negotiated processes can lead to the constant “I wish I knew”. Each of us has just but one life. This gift is meant to be cherished through individual and communal contribution to the wider society. An exploration, an understanding, awareness and acceptance of one’s stage in life, is the base of maximizing the potentials in the stage. It is in so doing that one is able to invest in the wants of the future stage. Transitional life skills, while focusing largely on adolescent stages, address the other stages through individual and community based programmes.
